I got a few updated collections to replace what wasn't already here, but this contains basically everything. The detail window will tell you the exact roms that you are missing from your romset. I know it is a question that comes up frequently, so I thought I would share what I have found to be a good approach. It seems as though Mother 1+2 are absent from this collection. Honestly I never used them, but I just thought to add them, for people that might want to try them out. That means the English ones are 1044.Next
I have these sorted out pretty well. These are in that language, because I could not find them in English. · Atari 5200 — 107 — Takes a few extra steps to get going, but not bad, seems to work well once the game loads. If you are like me, you can find them seperately from your romset and add them to your roms folder and then do another scan. There are a lot more games for this, but these six are the only ones that worked.Next
I triple checked to make sure. I've never had any issues with those collections. · Neo Geo Pocket Color — 173 — Everything works well. It can automatically look into picture databases and download pictures for a lot of the games. Launchbox is a frontend for multiple emulators and if anything it is the best I have found out there. · Sega 32X — 41 — Everything works well. If you download more than one of my romsets, you can always combine the Excel pages, by copying them all in a single Excel file.
· Oric — 535 — Works well enough, some bad apples here and there but overall not bad. This has been handcrafted, tested, and enhanced to run to the best of its ability. No-Intro sets tend to focus on chip based titles. Due to size restraints, there are only English released games here. If you want to play only some games and not download them all, then visit Emuparadise and get them from there. Even if all roms are meant to be clean working roms, there are some rare exceptions.
How did you get and assemble this collection, as the No-Intro team directly stated themselves that they did not support downloading roms? In anticipation to re-doing my downloads, I'm eyeing Romhustler to be my new primary source, simply because their rom lists seem more well orgenized than Emuparadise's. GoodSets are maintained by Cowering, rarely updated, and contain basically everything out there -- overdumps, underdumps, hacks, etc. · Vectrex — 43 — Nothing says fun more than vector graphic games! I would happily upload thses zip files for the community to use. · WonderSwan Color — 92 — Everything works well. · Super Famicom — 1,448 — Everything works well. Only Neo Geo games, no other arcade games here.Next
· Atari 7800 — 114 — Everything works well. This is one and it works well. There are also tools out there that can remove intros, which sometimes works forgot what they are called as it's been years since I've done something like this - But seems like something that could be found on Zophar's Domain. The Others part of the main pack, is whatever rom was in non English or Japan language. One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. They are not as reliable as the above console and arcade sets, but they generally work for the most part.Next
Some actually work normally, but others barely can be called games. But the first one was not a hack or something like that. · Famicom Disk System — 265 — Everything works well. · SuperGrafx — 6- Everything works well. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. This has a complete North American game set and a Europe set as well.Next
It was a ninja like one where you get powers as you kill bosses set out similar to ninja gaiden but the bosses were massive, anyway it's bound to be in here and if anyone knows what this game was will you save me time and comment please. The main folder consists of North American games, then there is a Europe, Japan, and Others folder. · Sam Coupe — 171 — Works well. · Game Gear — 496 — Everything works well. This is due to the fact there are a lot of duplicate games between regions with similar data structures that get cross referenced during 7z compression. Anyway for those concerned, I downloaded the zip files, and tested them with 7-zip, and it's all good.Next
Keyboard and mouse though a lot can be played with a controller. Uses Final Burn Alpha emulator. This might not be the case for all, but it was my experience. There is a folder of Unlicensed, Betas, and Alternate games here as well. I have tried my best to not have duplicate games, but even so, there might be a couple left that I did not detect.Next
